Twyford Heritage

Thank you for visiting our Twyford Heritage website.

We are a registered Charity working with other fundraising groups, Twyford Community Center CIC, Twyford Watermeadows, GOESA, the Graze Festival and Percy’s Pals, on projects based in and around Twyford, Hampshire.

We are currently working with Twyford Community Center CIC on a project to acquire and operate the Twyford Social Club; with Twyford Itchen Watermeadows to purchase an additional meadow in the village and with GOESA who oppose the expansion of Southampton Airport.

Twyford Heritage was set up in 2009 to work with Twyford Parish Council on preserving Berry Meadow, an ancient 17 acre water meadow in the Twyford Itchen Valley.  We raised £27,000 to assist the Council buy Berry Meadow, improve the fencing, restore the grass sward biodiversity and maintain the increased public access to the meadow.

Graze Festival was a one day music, food and arts festival which took place during the August bank holiday weekend in Twyford. A great day out for all the family and a not for profit enterprise raising funds for local groups and charities. Since the 2015 Graze Festival over £17,000 was raised and donated to local groups.
